Between Liguria and Tuscany

Thanks to the particular geographical position, on the border between Liguria and Tuscany, there are many possibilities and places to visit nearby, from the villages overlooking the sea of ​​the Cinque Terre to Portovenere with the islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto, from the beaches and coves of the Ligurian coast from Bocca di Magra to Tellaro to the villages of Montemarcello, Tellaro, Lerici and San Terenzo.

From the medieval town of Sarzana, to the fortified villages and castles of Lunigiana, from the peaks of the Apuan Alps with the spectacular Carrara marble quarries.
Other valleys and parks can be reached: the Val di Vara and the Garfagnana, the national park of the Tuscan Emilian Apennines or the marine protected area and the Cinque Terre National Park.

You can visit the long sandy beaches of Versilia with famous places like Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta and Viareggio. Some cities of art such as Lucca and Pisa can be reached within a reasonable time and, if you wish, you can even go to Parma, Genoa or Florence in less than two hours.
